# Trading & Transactions

Learn about swap, transaction fee, slippage, wallet safety, and common trading issues on OMEN Protocol.

This page answers common questions about swaps, transaction costs, slippage, wallet safety, and troubleshooting transactions on OMEN Protocol.

### 1. How do swap work on OMEN Protocol?

OMEN Utility provides integrated swap functionality for supported tokens and networks. Users can select a token pair, review the available quote, and confirm the transaction through a connected wallet.

Available swap routes depend on network support, liquidity, and integration availability.

### 2. Which network is currently supported for swaps?

OMEN currently focuses on Robinhood Chain. Swap availability depends on the assets and routes supported by the platform.

Other networks may be added in future updates.

### 3. Are there fees when swapping tokens?

A swap may involve several costs, including network gas fees, liquidity or routing costs, and any applicable platform fee.

Review the transaction details before confirming a swap. Applicable fees should be displayed or explained by the interface before the transaction is submitted.

### 4. What is slippage?

Slippage is the difference between the expected execution price and the final execution price of a swap.

Higher slippage may increase the chance of a transaction completing when prices move, but it can also result in a less favorable execution price. Review the slippage setting and quoted output before confirming.

### 5. Why did my transaction fail?

A transaction may fail because of insufficient gas, low liquidity, price movement, an expired quote, an incorrect transaction setting, or a wallet rejection.

Check the transaction status on the relevant blockchain explorer and confirm that your wallet has enough funds for the transaction and network fees.

### 6. Why is my transaction pending?

A pending transaction may be waiting for network processing or confirmation.

Check the transaction hash on the relevant blockchain explorer. Avoid submitting repeated transactions without first checking the status of the original transaction.

### 7. What should I check before confirming a swap?

**1. Token Pair:** Confirm that the selected input and output tokens are correct.

**2. Network:** Ensure that your wallet is connected to the intended network.

**3. Estimated Output:** Review the amount expected to be received.

**4. Slippage:** Check that the slippage setting is appropriate for the trade.

**5. Transaction Costs:** Review estimated gas fees and any applicable platform fees.

**6. Wallet Confirmation:** Read the transaction details before signing.

### 8. Is a swap reversible?

Confirmed blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. If a transaction completes, OMEN cannot simply reverse it.

Always verify token addresses, transaction details, and the destination network before signing.

### 9. How can I verify a transaction?

Use the transaction hash to look up the transaction on a blockchain explorer that supports the relevant network.

Confirm the transaction status, token transfers, recipient address, and amount before assuming the swap completed successfully.

### 10. Is it safe to connect my wallet to OMEN?

Only connect a wallet through the official OMEN Protocol website. Review wallet prompts carefully and never share your recovery phrase or private key.

Do not sign unfamiliar transactions or grant approvals without understanding their purpose.

### 11. What should I do if tokens do not appear after a swap?

First, verify the transaction status on the relevant blockchain explorer. Confirm the receiving token address and check whether the wallet displays the correct network and asset.

If the transaction succeeded but the token is not visible, verify the token contract address before taking further action.

### 12. Does OMEN guarantee swap execution or a specific price?

No. Swap execution depends on network conditions, available liquidity, supported routes, and price movements. Quotes are estimates and do not guarantee a specific final execution price.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://omen-protocol.gitbook.io/omen-protocol-docs/faq/trading-and-transactions.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
