# Vision & Mission

The vision, mission, and principles guiding the development of OMEN Protocol and its connected crypto intelligence ecosystem.

### Our Vision

To build a connected crypto intelligence ecosystem where market data, on-chain insights, AI-assisted analysis, and trading tools work together across blockchain networks.

OMEN Protocol aims to make crypto research and market interaction more accessible through practical tools designed for an evolving digital asset landscape.

### Our Mission

OMEN Protocol is focused on developing useful infrastructure that helps users explore markets, analyze digital assets, and access trading functionality in one unified platform.

Our mission is built around three priorities:

#### 1. Make Market Intelligence More Accessible

Bring relevant market information, token discovery, and analytical tools into a more connected experience, helping users research digital assets with greater context.

#### 2. Connect Intelligence With Execution

Combine market research and AI-assisted analysis with integrated trading tools, reducing the need to move between disconnected platforms.

#### 3. Build for a Multichain Ecosystem

Start with practical utility on supported networks, then expand market coverage and integrations as the technology and ecosystem develop.

### Our Principles

**Utility First**

Every feature should serve a clear purpose. OMEN prioritizes practical functionality over features built only for attention.

**Continuous Development**

The platform will evolve through ongoing improvements, new integrations, and feedback from its users.

**Transparency**

Product capabilities, limitations, and development plans should be communicated clearly. Planned features are distinguished from functionality that is already available.

**User Control**

Users connect their own wallets and authorize their own transactions. AI-generated analysis is intended to support research, not replace independent judgment.

### Looking Forward

OMEN Protocol is being developed as a long-term crypto intelligence project. The focus is on improving the core platform, expanding supported markets, and introducing additional utility as the ecosystem matures.

The goal is not simply to add more tools, but to make those tools work together in a way that provides lasting value to users.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://omen-protocol.gitbook.io/omen-protocol-docs/getting-started/vision-and-mission.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
